Remnant 2’s pricey respec costs are ‘being looked into’, says principal designer Ben Cureton-

Remnant 2’s been an unexpected hit, knocking out everything except CS:GO on Steam’s top seller list yesterday, in spite of some thorny performance issues that have made upscaling a necessity. On the whole, however, most fans seem happy with a sequel that’s more, but better. There’s a fly in the multiverse ointment, though: the game’s respec costs are weirdly high.

The official subreddit has been buzzing with issues surrounding Remnant 2’s trait system. In the first game, traits acted as a continuous grind, giving you minor boosts to your stats with no cap on how many you could stack up.

Remnant 2 takes a different tactic, capping your trait points at 60 to make those choices more meaningful. This allows the developers to add stronger traits to the game without fretting…

Vampire- The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2’s Brujah are big drinkers who flip the bird to taunt enemies-

With Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 due out this year, The Chinese Room continues to let us sip the game’s veins, today giving us a better look at one of the undead clans: the Brujah. These leather-loving vamps are the rebels of vampire society, and were the first clan revealed by both Hardsuit Labs in the sequel’s original incarnation, and again by The Chinese Room.

Picking a Brujah vamp means you’re going to be a frontline fighter with a shitty attitude, always looking for a scrap. The Brujah were initially warrior scholars, but in the modern world they are known more for being impetuous and short-tempered. Expect a very in-your-face kinda playstyle.

In combat, you’re going to be furiously punching and feeding. Brujah abilities include Taunt, whe…

We haven’t heard the last of Lance Reddick in Destiny 2- Bungie says there are ‘performances yet to come in the game’-

It seems that we haven’t heard the last of Commander Zavala in Destiny 2: In a tribute to voice actor Lance Reddick, who died unexpectedly last week at age 60, Bungie confirmed there are still “performances yet to come in the game.”

Reddick had an impressive career in movies and television, and he also appeared in a number of high-profile games, including Quantum Break, Horizon Zero Dawn, and Horizon Forbidden West. But it’s fair to say that he’s best known in games as Commander Zavala, the big cheese in Destiny—not just for his stoic, commanding presence in the Tower, but also because he was an enthusiastic player who clearly enjoyed interacting with fans.

“As the voice of Commander Zavala—the stalwart commander of the Vanguard—Lance brought to life a char…

WoW Classic Hardcore squad clutches a world-first clear of Naxxramas—after the heroic sacrifice of their guild leader-

There’s something about World of Warcraft Classic’s Hardcore servers that just seems to generate good stories. Any other day, face planting in one of the game’s hardest raids wouldn’t be a blip on the radar—but here a single slip-up can cost you everything, elevating an already vicious encounter to a matter of life and death.

For the uninitiated, on these hardcore servers death is final—if your character bites it, you’re cursed to live out the rest of your days as a ghost (though you can create a new one). This is especially gnarly with these endgame raids, seeing as any mistake can lead to a cascade of deaths and a full team wipe. Normally, you’d just run back and go again—but unless your group has a bunch of alts lined up, losing an army of fully-geared charact…

You’re waking up to bad Galactic War news in Helldivers 2 because the bugs and bots don’t sleep, says developer Arrowhead’s CEO- ‘It’s a push and pull’-

The galactic war in Helldivers 2 proceeds apace, and it sure is fun to watch, from memes about the creek to Veld-induced panic, there’s a whole lot happening day by day. The current major order to keep Heeth and Angel’s Venture safe is going well, but players are starting to notice something strange. They plug in the hours to defend Super Earth, but when they wake up the next morning, all that progress has gone down the drain. What gives?

Turns out, bugs and bots don’t sleep, that’s what gives—as noted by Arrowhead Games’ CEO Johan Pilestedt on Twitter over the weekend. “I’ve seen many posts about a planet’s liberation amount—at peak [Concurrent Users (CCU)] the community is able to liberate high amounts, but as soon as peak passes, the enemies manage to take the plane…

You can only date your co-workers in Starfield, decrees Todd Howard-

In an interview with Kinda Funny Games, Todd Howard—director of Bethesda’s upcoming Starfield—mentioned that there’s a limit to the options of long-term, fully developed romances you can pursue.

An audience question posed by Courtney asked: “Are the Constellation companions the only ones that are able to be romanced?” to which Todd replied: “The four main Constellation [NPCs] are the ones that support full questlines for them, and romance.”

This is something of a relief, considering I—and others at PC Gamer—haven’t been too jazzed about smooching with Bethesda’s usual plastic-faced cast. Still, that long-form romance is only possible with four whole characters in a game with “over 1,000 planets” is wild to me. Apparently, even in a future …

FPI inflows in FAR bonds cross $1-bn mark

Investment by foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) in fully accessible route (FAR) bonds has crossed the $1-billion (Rs 8,740 crore) mark in just 19 days after government securities were included in the JPMorgan global bond index on June 28.

Overseas investors have poured over $1.05 billion into index-eligible bonds since June 28, according to data from the Clearing Corporation of India. With the softening bias in bond yield, experts expect inflows to increase at an accelerated pace in the coming months.
