WoW Classic Hardcore squad clutches a world-first clear of Naxxramas—after the heroic sacrifice of their guild leader-

There’s something about World of Warcraft Classic’s Hardcore servers that just seems to generate good stories. Any other day, face planting in one of the game’s hardest raids wouldn’t be a blip on the radar—but here a single slip-up can cost you everything, elevating an already vicious encounter to a matter of life and death.

For the uninitiated, on these hardcore servers death is final—if your character bites it, you’re cursed to live out the rest of your days as a ghost (though you can create a new one). This is especially gnarly with these endgame raids, seeing as any mistake can lead to a cascade of deaths and a full team wipe. Normally, you’d just run back and go again—but unless your group has a bunch of alts lined up, losing an army of fully-geared charact…

You’re waking up to bad Galactic War news in Helldivers 2 because the bugs and bots don’t sleep, says developer Arrowhead’s CEO- ‘It’s a push and pull’-

The galactic war in Helldivers 2 proceeds apace, and it sure is fun to watch, from memes about the creek to Veld-induced panic, there’s a whole lot happening day by day. The current major order to keep Heeth and Angel’s Venture safe is going well, but players are starting to notice something strange. They plug in the hours to defend Super Earth, but when they wake up the next morning, all that progress has gone down the drain. What gives?

Turns out, bugs and bots don’t sleep, that’s what gives—as noted by Arrowhead Games’ CEO Johan Pilestedt on Twitter over the weekend. “I’ve seen many posts about a planet’s liberation amount—at peak [Concurrent Users (CCU)] the community is able to liberate high amounts, but as soon as peak passes, the enemies manage to take the plane…

You can only date your co-workers in Starfield, decrees Todd Howard-

In an interview with Kinda Funny Games, Todd Howard—director of Bethesda’s upcoming Starfield—mentioned that there’s a limit to the options of long-term, fully developed romances you can pursue.

An audience question posed by Courtney asked: “Are the Constellation companions the only ones that are able to be romanced?” to which Todd replied: “The four main Constellation [NPCs] are the ones that support full questlines for them, and romance.”

This is something of a relief, considering I—and others at PC Gamer—haven’t been too jazzed about smooching with Bethesda’s usual plastic-faced cast. Still, that long-form romance is only possible with four whole characters in a game with “over 1,000 planets” is wild to me. Apparently, even in a future …

Ken Chenault and Ken Frazier on the Challenge of Polarization Today

In 2021, troubled by a law change in Georgia that could restrict voting access, business leaders Ken Chenault and Ken Frazier partnered to gather the support of U.S. executives to take a stand. They secured more than 700 signatures for their statement opposing “discriminatory legislation.” But the pair told the audience at the TIME100 Summit on Wednesday that today’s political and social climate would make such an effort more difficult to achieve in 2024.

“I think it would be much harder to get CEOs to take a stand on those issues or many other issues,” said Frazier, the chairman of health assurance Initiatives at General Catalyst, and former CEO at pharmaceutical company Merck—which, as a premiere partner for the TIME100 franchise, was a sponsor of the event—during…

Valuation decent, but competition, profitability a concern- Analysts

While several analysts have called the valuation set by Ola Electric for its IPO decent, they also flagged concerns over rising competition in the electric two-wheeler space and the company’s profitability.

A research head at a top-tier domestic brokerage firm said Ola Electric Mobility lowered the valuations because domestic institutions were not happy with the high valuations.

Ambareesh Baliga, an independent market analyst, said the current valuation is 20% lower than the company’s last fundraising round, and that at this level, it is a decent bargain for investors.
